What are Employee Capital Plans (PPK)?

PPK, or Employee Capital Plans, is a voluntary long‑term savings system introduced in Poland in 2019. Its main goal is to support employees in building private savings and securing their financial future after they finish their professional careers.

Savings in PPK are accumulated jointly by three parties:

45 days after the end of the quarter

by April 15 of the year following the calendar year for which the benefit is due

PPK, or Employee Capital Plans, is a voluntary long‑term savings system introduced in Poland in 2019. Its main goal is to support employees in building private savings and securing their financial future after they finish their professional careers.

PLN 250 welcome payment

(45 days after the end of the quarter)

PLN 240 annual surcharge

(until April 15th of the year following the calender year for which it is due)

2.0% basic contribution*

(of gross salary)

2.0% additional contribution

(of gross salary)

*If income from all sources does not exceed 120% of the minimum wage, the employee’s basic contribution may be reduced to 0.5%.
